Our chapter is located in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago, in the Tri-Cities.
Geneva serves as our home base, but we have friends join us from Saint Charles, West Chicago, Batavia, Aurora, Naperville, Bartlett, Montgomery, Yorkville, Sugar Grove, Elgin, South Elgin, Elburn, Sycamore, and Dekalb.
Regardless of where you call home, everyone is welcome here!

To create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
Learn More About PFLAG NationalJoin a Support Meeting
Our meetings are free and offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential space for LGBTQ+ individuals, their family, friends and allies ages 18 years and older.
Support meetings generally include a speaker or discussion topic for 45+ minutes, followed by 30+ minutes focused on connecting and supporting one another.
Monthly Support Meetings are the second Monday of each month from 6-8pm.
Quarterly Sunday meetings begin in 2026.
Sunday Meeting Dates are January 11th, April 12th, July 12th, and October 11th
These meetings are held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and are in person only.

PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois Scholarship 2026
The PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois 2026 Scholarship Program is an unrestricted $2500 scholarship for Illinois LGBTQ+ undergraduate, graduate, and continuing students who are between 17 and 28 years old. Its purpose is to encourage and support those who identify as LGBTQ+ to pursue their educational and career goals.
